PO "Bonuvoni Fardo" in Khatlon Region implemented the project "Rights of women in the labor", supported by USAID under the Legal Support Program ICNL. In order to promote the rights and interests of rural women in 3 districts of southern Khatlon region, we conducted an information and educational campaign to combat negative gender stereotypes and discrimination against women in the world of work, through:
Information Campaign on Targeted social aid

During three months of 2023, the PO "Bonuvoni fardo" of Khatlon region fruitfully implemented the project “Information Campaign for Targeted Social Aid in Shakhritus”, supported by the international organization ACTED at the expense of UKaid. Within the framework of the project, information meetings were actively held with the population in order to increase their awareness of targeted social aid. This project was implemented in partnership with the department of social protection of the population of the Hukumat of the Shakhritus district, and all information material was approved by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan. The local newspaper "Subhi Shahritus" published 6 thematic articles, and also were published posts in the social space. Also, within the framework of the project, an informational video about the TSA was broadcast on Khatlon TV.
"Women's Access to Land"
Mama Cash
Within the framework of the project "Women's Access to Land" financed by the Mama Cash Foundation, the PO "Bonuvoni Fardo" in 2024 joined the global campaign for Solidarity of Women of all countries, and on March 12, 2024, held a Round Table with the participation of 20 people, including 18 women and 2 men from among representatives of mahalla leaders, government agencies, activists, NGOs.
Conducted 55 trainings for 1038 women and 68 men, a total of 1072 people from Shahritus, Nosir Khusrav and Kubodiyon on the topic: Women's rights in the labor sphere and their access to land.
From June 27 to July 1, 2024, 8 people of the organization visited Termez and Tashkent, got acquainted with the progressive experience of 2 organizations. The main result of the exchange of experience was that cooperation was established with the NGO "Intilish", which translates as "Aspiration" for further joint partnership activities in cross-border projects. Since our countries are neighboring and border in the Khatlon region of Tajikistan and the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan. As part of this, an online meeting was held to exchange experience with these partners from Uzbekistan and NGOs from Kazakhstan. It was very interesting to learn about the experience of neighboring countries.
In 2024, legal practical assistance was provided to 405 women: in Shakhritus - 165 people, in Kubodiyon - 138 people, in Nosir Khusrav - 102 people.
Lobbied the rights to obtain a state registration certificate for 289 women from 3 districts for access to land:
- registration and creation of 19 new dehkan farms, managed by women.
- 235 women registered household plots and became their owners.
- 9 women registered a land plot for various types of buildings for running an independent business (shop, cultural services and medical centers, hairdresser, banquet hall, canteens).
In December 2024, our organization joined the global campaign "16 days of activism against gender-based violence" and held an event at the medical and social college of the Shahritus district, which was attended by more than 50 people, 43 girls and boys.
In 2024, a total of 15 posts and 2 videos were published on social networks as part of the project.
In December 2024, 3 Round Tables were held in the Shahritus, Qubodiyon and Nosir Khusrav districts on the results of the "Women's Access to Land" project, in which 75 people, 51 women and 24 men, took part. At the meeting, we informed the public and authorities about the results of the project activities of the PO "Bonuvoni Fardo" for 2024. The specialists prepared and showed presentations with the results of the project work.
"Women's Rights in Agriculture and Their Access to Land"

In 2024, the public organization "Bonuvoni Fardo" of the Khatlon region implemented the project: "Women's Rights in Agriculture and Their Access to Land". The project of the graduate of American programs Venera Dzhabarova - director of the public organization "Bonuvoni Fardo" of the Khatlon region, which was supported and financed by the American Embassy in Tajikistan.
Within the framework of the project, a series of thematic round tables were held together with a representative of the Hukumat of the Shahritus district and a petition from rural women was prepared to the leadership of the Hukumat with recommendations for improving the situation of women in agriculture.
Free legal assistance in state registration of land use rights was also provided.
Public attention was drawn to this problem through the publication of thematic posts in the social space and on the organization's website www.bonuvonifardo.tj.
“Promoting the development of border regions of southern Khatlon”
BOMCA 10 Border Management Programme in Central Asia
Since August 2024, the Public Organization "Bonuvoni Fardo" has been implementing the project "Promoting the Development of Border Regions of Southern Khatlon". The project is being implemented in the border regions of Shakhritus, Kubodiyon and Nosir Khusrav for 12 months.
The project is aimed at promoting the development of the border regions of southern Khatlon and improving their quality of life.
Within the framework of this project, the following will be done:
- A Business Education Center was created and the level of knowledge of 50 women and young people from migrant families in entrepreneurial skills was increased.
- Consulting assistance was provided to more than 300 people and support was provided in creating their own business for 10 women and young people from 3 districts.
- A network of CSOs "South Khatlon" was created for cooperation and increasing the potential of CSOs through training and 3 meetings to discuss issues of migration and cross-border areas.
- Public attention was attracted through the publication of posts on social networks and articles in the newspaper.
This project is funded by the European Union under the BOMCA 10 grant scheme. The BOMCA 10 programme is implemented by a consortium of border management agencies of selected European Union Member States and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), led by the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia.
