🌾 Stable soil is the key to a good harvest

In Tajikistan, soil fertility is declining due to the excessive use of chemical fertilizers and monotonous crops.

✅ What to do:
– Practice crop rotation—alternate cotton, cereals, and legumes;
– Use organic fertilizers (manure, compost);
– Plant soil-building plants.

🌱 This keeps the soil vibrant and increases yields without harming the environment.

💧 Rational use of water

In Tajikistan's agriculture, up to 70% of water is wasted.

✅ Solutions:
– Use drip irrigation, night and morning watering;
– Clean and protect irrigation ditches;
– Don't waste water.

🚜 Every drop saved today saves tomorrow's harvest.

🌿 Organic farming — clean food and healthy nature

Chemical pesticides kill not only pests but also beneficial insects, and they also poison the soil.

✅ What you can do:
– Use biological products (infusions of garlic, ash, and herbs);
– Plant companion plants that repel pests;
– Participate in training on organic farming.

👩‍🌾 Women who work the land can be the first to switch to clean production.

🌳 Greening and protecting pastures

Felling trees and overgrazing lead to soil erosion and dust storms.

✅ What's important:
– Plant trees along fields and roads;
– Create windbreaks;
– Control grazing, allow the land to "rest."

🌍 Green spaces retain moisture and protect crops from heat.

🌸 Women are the guardians of environmental safety

Rural women work with the land and water every day – they are the first to notice changes in nature.

✅ How to strengthen women's role:
– Engage them in training on sustainable practices;
– Support women's initiatives in farming;
– Share knowledge between generations.

🌾 Environmental sustainability begins with an informed woman on her own land.
